Blade Straightening

Straight blades are required for a number of reasons:

• Ensuring level edges after sharpening
• Ensuring the skater is able to maintain proper direction control and edge work
• Reducing the stress on the blade and boot

Rich@TheRink possesses tools that can measure the blade straightness to better than 0.05mm (0.01mm in some cases), and a variety of tools to straighten blades.

This service may require additional cost, if mounting holes in the boot are the cause, and need to be repaired.
